SUBJECT: FACTORY REPAIR SERVICE
As of the above date, the following parts only may be returned to Indian for re-conditioning:
- Frames, forks, tanks, and connecting rods from models manufactured during the past ten years.
Also
- No finished paint work will be done at Indian. All frames, forks and tanks will be returned in prime coat only to prevent rusting in transit.
The straightening of fenders and all paint work will have to be done in your own shop or by body experts in your town. We are gearing our plant for the real production of motorcycles and will be unable to handle miscellaneous repair work and give you the service you may expect from local sources. Do not send in any other parts for repairs unless given special permission by our Service Manager!
