1950 Indian Chief – Numbers Matching Restored. I have owned this Chief for 15 years. This telescopic fork, full fendered Chief was fully restored with the intent to ride it cross country rather than simply display and polish it.
MECHANICAL
Fully rebuilt motor including top and bottom end, rods, primary chain, cams, carburetor and oil pump with less than 7,500 miles on it. · Constant mesh 4-speed (overdrive) transmission and new clutch · Kiwi electric start with 12-volt conversion and new original style wiring harness · Front forks and races rebuilt with progressive springs and rear suspension restored to spec. · Hubs, bearings, and brakes done. · New drive train and sprocket
COSMETIC
- Repainted and re-chromed five years ago. Some minor chips and patina
- Mid-range touring tanks from Iron Horse Corral providing an extra gallon of gas for those longer rides.
- Heathers Leathers Chummee seat and original pattern fringed saddle bags
