PAYMENT We Accept, Cash, Personal Checks (may be held 10days to clear bank), COD, Money Order, Wire Transfer (Please call for instructions), Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. All funds should be in US dollars, and drawn on a US bank. We also accept Crypto Currency payments. Please call for instructions.
BACKORDERS: All backorders will be automatically shipped when available unless you indicate NO BACKORDERS.**PLEASE NOTE THAT SHIPPING CHARGES STILL APPLY TO ANY BACKORDERED ITEMS**. DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT Should you receive merchandise which is damaged in transit, the following procedures must be adhered to: A. Keep all cartons, packaging and damaged product. B. Make a notation on the delivery receipt before the delivering carrier leaves your premises and retain a copy thereof. C. Notify Starklite Cycle immediately. D. Notify delivering carrier’s claims department immediately to settle claim. Starklite Cycle will assist in providing any documentation required to settle the claim. E. If there is concealed damage, the delivering carrier must be notified within 24 hours. Ownership of the merchandise transfers at the F.O.B. shipping point (Riverside, California) and all shipments are fully insured. Therefore, claims for lost or damaged merchandise must be originated by recipient and are required to be made to the delivering carrier, not Starklite Cycle
RETURNS:
Please refer to the following policies when returning any item to Starklite Cycle.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL - NO RETURNS ARE ALLOWED - except for warranty claims as defined below:
A. Call or fax to receive a return goods authorization number. A return authorization number only authorizes the return and creates the documentation which will be used to inspect the returned item. It does not automatically create a credit or exchange for any item. You must provide a copy of your original invoice to return any item. Starklite Cycle reserves the right to decide between exchange, repair, credit, or the return of merchandise in question after our inspection.
B. Items only listed on your return authorization will be accepted by Starklite Cycle. Any other items will be returned at your expense. Take care in packaging your return as we will not accept parts damaged in shipping due to poor packing. Please insure all returns with the carrier. The packing and condition of the items received are responsibility of the shipper and carrier. Returned goods received in damaged condition will be returned. Make sure your return goods authorization number is on the outside of the shipping box. Goods must be returned in saleable condition. Return of new, saleable merchandise is not returnable. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You must include copies of your original invoice as proof of purchase for proper credit. Any parts returned to Starklite Cycle without a return authorization number or copies of original invoice will be returned. Please return warranty items freight paid to Starklite Cycle 3110 Indian Ave. Ste A, Perris Ca 92571, as we do not issue pick-ups (call tags).
C. Please allow 4 to 5 business days for the processing of a return.
D. A restocking fee of 50% will be applied to all return goods unless found to be defective or not as ordered. Starklite Cycle will not accept returns of non-defective items after 0 days from date of original invoice. No returns will be accepted on modified, sanded, drilled, ground, or repainted products. No credit will be issued for labor costs incurred beyond the original invoice price of the product.
E. Shortages and discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of order.
F. Return authorization numbers are only valid for a period of 60 days from the date of issue. Please send all returns freight paid within 60 days to Starklite Cycle for processing.
WARRANTY Items placed in service, installed and/or used will be considered for our standard replacement warranty for either replacement, repair, or pro-rated exchange. No credit will be issued on any item after it has been installed. All replacement or repair privileges are void when a product is reworked or altered by anyone. Starklite Cycle warranties each new product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from date of original purchase. This warranty is valid provided product is properly installed on the original vehicle, subject to normal use and service, is not utilized for race or competition purposes, and is not modified. If a thorough inspection of the product indicates defects in material or workmanship, the sole obligation of Starklite Cycle shall be to have the product repaired or replaced. This warranty covers only the product and does not include the cost of installation or removal. Starklite Cycle shall not be liable for any and all consequential damages.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER LABOR OR OTHER COSTS OR EXPENSES INCIDENTAL TO THE REPAIR AND/OR REPLACEMENT OF PRODUCTS OR PARTS.
This limited warranty does not apply to any products which has been subject to misuse, mishandling, misapplication, neglect (including but not limited to improper maintenance), accident, improper installation, or modification Chrome/Cadium Plated or Primer Base Goods: Due to the inherent variation of finishing materials, surface and other requirements, and the fact that plating/metal finishing is a handcrafted operation, we will reserve the right to replace any item returned as defective for the reason of discrepant plating in the opinion of the customer. Base primer finishes are used to discourage oxidation of surface metal and are not considered an actual base coat for subsequent finish paint applications. Please inspect chrome or painted parts before installing. Motor and Transmission parts are covered by warranty service for 90 days from date of installation to 1 year from date of invoice. Gas and Oil Tanks are warranted for leakage as exchange only. Starklite Cycle is not the manufacturer of the gas tanks. Starklite Cycle is not liable for paint or labor claims of any kind. Note: Tanks/fenders are shipped bare metal (unfinished surface), unless noted as primer. The primer supplied on these products is for protection only and may not be suitable as a base coat for painting.
NOTE: BEFORE PAINTING GAS TANKS, OIL TANKS, FENDERS:
Check new tank/fender for flaws and fit before installing
Do not grind or sand seams or joints
Clean inside and use a sealer on tanks
Check petcock and oil tank threads for fit
RETURNS PROCESSING If you have any questions regarding your return, please contact Starklite Cycle. All inquiries should be made within 6 months from date of invoice.
GENERAL SALES POLICY We make no warranty of any kind as to product distributed by us, express or implied, including without limitation any warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We will, however, pass on all warranties made by the manufacturer, who has sole responsibility for performing such warranties. The manufacturer shall be solely responsible for any damage to person or property arising from the design, manufacture, and testing of its products, we accept no liability for such damages. We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. Any credit arising from a return will be posted to the customer’s account. Starklite Cycle reserves the right to, at any time and without prior notification or liability, change or improve the design of any product, add or discontinue products. Unless advised by you in writing within 30 days from date of mailing of this sales policy, we will assume that you are in complete agreement with this policy as herein stated. Effective date, January 1, 2000 supersedes any previously issued sales policy.
