The Stark Family has been involved with Indian Motorcycles for over 100 years.
Starting in 1918 Charles Stark was an Indian Dealer in Akron Ohio.
His son Bob Stark took over the dealership and ran it until 1955.
He then moved into aerospace and worked for Hughes Aircraft where he helped our first Lunar Lander land on the moon with project Surveyor.
In 1970 there was a over supply of Mechanical Engineers and he started Starklite Cycle
In 1983 after graduating from High School I (Gary Stark, Bob's son) started working at Starklite while attending College at California State University Long Beach earning my engineering degree. In 2001 I took over full time operation of the parts operation.
